Eden Green Technology CEO Eddy Badrina Named to Texas A&M AgriLife External Advisory Board
Eden Green Technology is proud to announce that Eddy Badrina, the company’s CEO, has been named to the Texas A&M AgriLife External Advisory Board. Joining other C-suite executives from such notable companies as Cargill, Bayer, General Mills, Tyson Foods and PepsiCo, Badrina will be working to enhance the cooperation and knowledge-sharing between academic and industry experts.
Badrina will provide his expertise based on years of rich, firsthand experience in the field of next-generation agriculture to the Board, with a particular focus on the issues of food security, infrastructure durability and disaster preparedness, as well as sustainability topics such as water recycling, electrical efficiency and crop variation.
Texas A&M AgriLife is the largest agricultural program in the U.S., with an annual budget of $400 million and more than 5,000 employees. Its mission -- education, research and community outreach --- is bolstered and supported by the External Advisory Board.
“It’s an honor to be selected to the Texas A&M AgriLife External Advisory Board. As a former Texas A&M student myself, I’m thoroughly convinced of the importance of AgriLife’s mission and impact, and I’m thrilled to be able to contribute to it,” said Badrina.. “As a business leader and a father, it’s of vital importance to me to be able to bring AgriLife’s life-changing contributions out into the community, especially to the next generation.”
"I am thrilled to be able to draw on Eddy Badrina’s unique outlook and expertise in strategic planning to serve in an advisory role for Texas A&M AgriLife,” said Patrick J. Stover, Ph.D., vice chancellor for Texas A&M AgriLife, dean of the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and director of Texas A&M AgriLife Research. “His work with Eden Green Technology is particularly helpful to us in preparing students and pursuing research to fulfill emerging needs in sustainable agriculture.”
