Eden Green Technology Scholarship Program Official Program Rules

 

 Eligibility. The Eden Green Technology Scholarship Program (“Program”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada, 17 years of age or older who are enrolled or planning to enroll in an agriculture, agtech, hydroponics or CEA program (“Eligible Program”) at an accredited college, university, trade school, technical institute, or vocational college (“Accredited Institution”). Further eligibility requirements for each scholarship are described below. Employees of Eden Green Technology Inc. and members of their immediate family, are not eligible to apply or receive a scholarship as part of the Program. Qualified applicants may apply for multiple scholarships, and past recipients of a scholarship under this Program may apply for additional scholarships.

Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2022.

Applications. Applications must be submitted online at https://www.edengreen.com/scholarship. Applicants will be required to submit their contact information, school information, and describe their extracurricular or other notable school activities. Applicants will also be required to write a short essay of 450 words or less answering a particular question related to each scholarship (see below for a list of the available scholarships).

Applicants may apply for more than one scholarship.

Applicants agree to be bound by these Official Program Rules. Applications and essays are subject to the Eden Green Technology Terms of Use Agreement, including the terms for “Posting and Submission” and the “Acceptable Use Policy” described therein.

Information submitted in connection with an application is subject to the Eden Green Technology Privacy Policy.

Available Scholarships: General AgTech Award, Diversity in Agriculture Award (collectively the “Scholarships” and each a “Scholarship”).

The Scholarships will be awarded in the form of a check made payable to the Accredited Institution at which the recipient is enrolled (proof of enrollment in an Eligible Program or proof of acceptance into an Eligible Program at an Accredited Institution will be required). Scholarships may not be assigned or transferred. No cash equivalent prize will be awarded. The awarding of any Scholarship as part of this Program is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Program Rules. Scholarships that are not used for the academic year for which they are awarded will be forfeited.

If any recipient of a Scholarship fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated the Official Program Rules or otherwise does not meet the eligibility criteria as set out in these Official Program Rules, the Scholarship will be forfeited and will be awarded to another applicant, subject to verification of eligibility.

Eden Green Technology is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Program or in the announcement of the Scholarships.

Selection of Recipients. Completed scholarship applications will be reviewed by representatives of Eden Green Technology to determine the recipient of each Scholarship in Eden Green Technology’s sole discretion. All decisions are final. Eden Green Technology reserves the right not to award a Scholarship if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive any suitable applications.

Recipient Notification. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Program Rules. If a recipient notification is returned as undeliverable or a recipient does not supply the required verification within the time specified, the Scholarship will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate recipient at Eden Green Technology's discretion.

General Terms. Scholarship recipients, by acceptance of their prize, agree to release Eden Green Technology Inc., its affiliates and their respective employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, advertisers, officers, directors, and shareholders from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost, claim arising out of their participation in the Program or the receipt of or the use of the Scholarship. Except where prohibited by applicable law, by accepting a Scholarship, a recipient grants Eden Green Technology, and those acting under its authority, permission to use their name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, image, biographical information and statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the Internet, without notice, review or approval.

Eden Green Technology is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Eden Green Technology, users or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of applications which may damage a user's system or limit a user's ability to participate in this Program. Eden Green Technology reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Program should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Eden Green Technology’s control inhibit or corrupt the administration, security, or fairness of the Program, and Eden Green Technology may disqualify any person who engages in or attempts any such activity.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Program Rules, or the rights and obligations of applicants and Eden Green Technology in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Delaware, without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof. Applicants consent to jurisdiction and venue in, and agree that any claims or disputes shall be resolved exclusively in, the federal and state courts located in Delaware.
